Introducing Forrest Galante

Forrest Galante is one of America’s wildest outdoor adventurer and television personalities. He revels in the field of wildlife biology, specializing in the exploration of animals on the brink of extinction. His passion for finding exotic species landed him as the host of the new hit TV show “Extinct or Alive” on Animal Planet.

Growing up in the Southern African bush of Zimbabwe, he had a hands-on approach to wildlife from a very young age. As an avid nature lover and outdoor enthusiast, primitive survival became the next step in his quest to get closer to the natural world.

When asked about his scariest moment in the field...

"Having the deadly taipan slither over my bare neck when sticking my head under a house in an aboriginal village in Australia still brings me chills."

"I love traveling the world to explore incredible ecosystems and bring exposure to conservation and wildlife. I hope 10 years from now, we have an even bigger reach and impact and have even more people passionate about animals!"

What do you like about the Knoxville?: "They’re the best. Super well made, great polarization for looking into water or across sunny valleys and they look good as hell! I never leave home without them."

What do you like about Electric’s Polarized?: "I love the super-crisp picture and great color quality. I spend a lot of my time staring into glare covered water looking for aquatic species and the Knoxville always perform. They’re one of my essential tools in the toolkit of adventure and wildlife work!"
